Princeton’s journalism program launched an innovative course last summer in which students traveled to Greece for five weeks to act as eyewitnesses to history, reporting on the continuing refugee crisis in Athens and on the island of Lesbos. Joe Stephens, Ferris Professor of Journalism in residence and a veteran investigative reporter for The Washington Post, and his students will explain what they discovered while working as foreign correspondents. NPR Correspondent Deborah Amos will report on what she has discovered about the crisis right here in New Jersey.

Sponsored by the PIIRS Research Community, Migration: People and Cultures across Borders, and by the Humanities Council.
