Please join us for discussion of the role of disinformation, propaganda and cyber wars between the Russia and the West with the focus on Ukraine. This panel brings together leading specialists on propaganda and cyber warfare from Ukraine and the West.

Participants:

Ambassador Kurt Volker is former U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations (2017 to 2019), and former U.S. Ambassador to NATO (2008-2009). 

Dmytro Shymkiv is a former Vice Chairman of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine (2014-2018) and ex-CEO of “Microsoft Ukraine”

Moderated by: Peter Pomerantsev is a Senior Fellow at Johns Hopkins University, where he co-directs the Arena Program and the author of two books about Russian disinformation and propaganda: Nothing Is True and Everything Is Possible (2014) and This Is Not Propaganda (2019).
