Every year, PIIRS invites outstanding scholars from the United States and around the world to be in residence for a variety of visiting positions.

PIIRS gives its fellows three luxuries: uninterrupted time for research, friendly staff and intellectual communities that focus on important questions impacting different parts of the world. PIIRS has the resources to help scholars advance their projects.

Call for Applications

PIIRS Rapid Switch Postdoctoral Program

Three postdoctoral research associate or more senior positions are available through PIIRS, and are also affiliated with Princeton University's Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment and Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. Positions are with Rapid Switch, a new multi-disciplinary collaboration that seeks to identify pathways to accelerate decarbonization of energy systems by assessing bottlenecks, barriers and resistive forces. Applications are encouraged from individuals with a Ph.D. in social or behavioral sciences related to decision making, applied economics, or any other relevant natural, physical, ecological or social science related to the prospective decarbonization of India's energy system. 

Fudan-Princeton Postdoctoral Program (FPPP) 

Fudan University and Princeton University have established a joint postdoctoral fellowship program, Fudan-Princeton Postdoctoral Program (FPPP), aimed at training highly-qualified, early-career postdoctoral researchers in studies of Chinese economics and society problems using big data so that they are positioned to become leaders in their respective academic fields.  The Paul and Marcia Wythes Center on Contemporary China at Princeton University and Fudan University School of Data Science invite applications for a postdoctoral research associate in studies of contemporary China. Deadline is May 1.

CUHK Shenzhen-Princeton Postdoctoral Program (CPPP) 

The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Princeton University have established a postdoctoral fellowship program, CUHK Shenzhen-Princeton Postdoctoral Program (CPPP), aimed at training highly-qualified, early-career postdoctoral researchers in studies of contemporary China. Princeton University and CUHK Shenzhen invite applications for a postdoctoral research associate in studies of contemporary China. Deadline is May 1.
