Watch DW News' "COVID-19 Special: South Korea battles surging cases" and hear incoming Fung Global Fellow June Park speak on vaccine procurement and pandemic governance. Park is currently the Salzburg Global Seminar-Korea Foundation fellow in the Finance and Governance Program, working on post-pandemic geoeconomics conflicts in data governance/technology.

At Princeton, Park will work on "Governing a Pandemic with Data on the Contactless Path to AI," in line with a series of articles she has been working on in response to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus. Her proposed project centers on the questions of a social contract on conditional AI-oriented surveillance, patents on health related technology and bureaucratic governance in governing a pandemic with comparative angles on South Korea, Europe and the United States.
