PIIRS Global Seminars Applications Open
Freshmen, sophomores and juniors are invited to apply to PIIRS Global Seminars held in seven exciting locations next summer. The deadline application is February 13.
The experiential learning courses are:
Beijing, China: “Contemporary Chinese Society”
Havana, Cuba: “Havana: A User’s Guide to Cuba’s Transition”
Berlin, Germany: “Xenophobia and Xenophilia in Germany”
Athens, Greece: “Athens: Re: Staging the Greeks”
Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, India: “At Home (and Abroad) in the Indian Himalayas”
Windhoek, Namibia: “Development, Genocide and Nature Conservation in Namibia: History, Society and Environment in Local and Global Contexts”
Moscow, Russia: “Moscow: Culture, History, Politics”
Students may apply to only one Global Seminar and enrollment is based on application and faculty interview. Learn more about the Global Seminars by visiting their specific pages linked above. A link to the GPS application can be found on the respective pages.
PIIRS will be hosting a Global Seminar Study Break in January in the International Atrium of the Louis A. Simpson International Building to answer any questions about the seminars or application process. Date to come.
