The Quechua Collective of New York was created by a committee of like-minded individuals comprised of native Quechua speakers, heritage speakers, and students from the New York area. Their mission is to preserve and diffuse Quechua languages through workshops, cultural events, and educational programming. Millions of people continue to speak this 1000-year-old indigenous language in Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Colombia - and the United States. Please join the Princeton Quechua Workshop in conversation with Collective founder Elva Ambia and members of about their work, aims, and recent projects, including a new trilingual anthology.
