PIIRS invites students in the Class of '27 to learn about the department's five minors — African studies; European studies; Russia, Eastern Europe and Eurasian studies; South Asian studies; and translation and intercultural communication. The minors complement any major; offer a close-knit community of students and faculty who share a deep curiosity about global issues; and sharpen students' skills, cultural fluency and regional expertise.
