The Mr. and Mrs. Yan Huo *94*95 Graduate Fellowship, administered by PIIRS, will award qualified Princeton Ph.D. students who are conducting field work outside the United States for at least one semester, especially in or related to China, during the 2023-2024 academic year. Fellows will receive full tuition for the semester(s) abroad, a twelve-month stipend and up to $10,000 in additional funding to support research and travel.
Candidates should submit their applications through GPS. Proposals should be no longer than seven double-spaced pages, and should address the following:
- central idea of the dissertation;
- significance of candidate’s research to the field;
- data, methods and justification for the field work;
- summary of progress to date.
Two letters of recommendation must also be submitted to GPS as part of the application. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that all letters of recommendation are received.
