George McCabe is the managing director of Portolan Capital Management. McCabe was formerly a research analyst at the Lynch Foundation where he performed research and analysis on public and private companies and made portfolio allocation recommendations. He served in that role from July 2001 to December 2004 when he launched Portolan Capital Management, LLC. Prior to joining the Lynch Foundation, McCabe spent four years as a research analyst at Pilot Capital Corporation, a New York based investment manager.
