Ignacio Zubizarreta works in the National Council on Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) as a researcher, specializing in the Argentine political period that covers the years 1820-1862. He has taught at National University of Tres de Febrero, the University of Buenos Aires, l'Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris and UCEMA. Since 2014, he been professor-researcher at the National University of La Pampa, as well as adjunct professor in charge of the Chair of History of America. He is the author of "Unitarios: Historia de la Facción Política que Diseñó la Argentina Moderna" and "Caseros, la Batalla por la Organización Nacional." Ph.D. Freie Universität Berlin
