Central to the success of PIIRS Global Seminars is thoughtful engagement with our partner institutions, which span universities, museums, and other educational venues. Participants are empowered to forge meaningful academic and personal connections that go beyond the theoretical by making their coursework tangible. Some go on to examine their seminar topics in junior papers and senior theses. Others pursue grant funding to return to their seminar location, or create art that evokes what they have learned. While these outcomes vary in content and focus, they collectively speak to the transformative nature of the seminar experience.
